It’s a great idea to run Line 6 Monkey immediately after POD Farm installation, and to do so often, to be sure you have the latest updates for all your Line 6 software and hardware products. Line 6 Monkey is the intelligent updater utility automatically installed with your POD Farm application. Hmmmmm.I thought it was saying to connect it right away: Just remember to insert the POD Farm installation disc first and follow the instructions - don't connect your POD Studio until prompted to! On a serious note Mike, when you do get round to it you should be able to plug your guitar in and get some sounds in a few minutes. I'm so glad that this forum exists and that there are people like you and DOC and Beagle, and everyone else that are so well versed in this stuff because I would be completely at a loss. and it's freakin' cold enough around these parts! LOL I mean they just leave you right out in the cold. I'm looking at this stuff for 5 days now wondering what to install, what do I REALLY need, how do I use this unit once everything is installed. BUT, THEY DON'T EVEN TELL YOU THAT! lol)įor somebody as "green" as I am that's just insane. There's absolutely NO documentation whatsoever! They don't tell you a thing about what the disks are, or what they're for, or what they do.or even how to use them. I mean, you open the box and it's got the unit and four disks. What's weird is that, with the UX2 - they don't give you anything to get you going.nothing. Thanks Steve! How do you find all that stuff! LOL - I could look around that site all day and never come up with all the informative and useful info that you find! No idea why it was necessary.LOL!!!.you guys are funny like clown. Well, for anyone interested, it started to work after I restarted the PC. I've already tried reinstalling POD Farm 2 and the drivers, but it didn't help. So, any ideas why POD Farm 2 might not work? I'd like to add that it was working in Cubase 5. As you can see, input is detected and output is being sent. Try another plugin, in this case - free version of AmpliTube 4.Ĩ. As you can see, input is sent to the plugin window, but POD Farm 2 doesn't detect it.ħ. Open fx menu for this track and select "POD Farm 2 (圆4)" (Mixcraft was installed in 64-bit mode).Ħ. Check if I could hear output on this track (yes, I could).Ĥ. Select "Monitor Incoming Audio" for one of the audio tracks.ģ. Check if sound device configuration is correct:Ģ. However, when I added POD Farm 2 plugin to the audio track in Mixcraft, I wasn't able to get any input into that plugin.ġ. Everything went smoothly - I've connected my Line 6 UX 1 interface and I was able to get guitar output in Mixcraft. Today I've decided to try out Mixcraft 8 (and buy it, if everything works).
